Chef Mark

Mr. Pramot or Chef Mark, is the executive chef of Thai Rak Thai restaurant. He was born at Sukhothai, a small city in Thailand. His family owned a restaurant when he was young so he has a lot of experience in cooking Thai food. He moved to New York City in 1989 to work in a Thai restaurant. He was trained to cook Thai food from Dusit Thani College in 1999 and worked in Thai restaurant for more than 20 years. He learnt these culinary skills from experience and invented new recipes to fulfill the American taste buds.

Mr. Pramot said that the secret of creating a delicious Thai dish is using fresh ingredients in combination of the right spice and herbs. We are pretty flexible with our recipes just so the dish meets your expectation. We can prepare the vegetarian or vegan dishes by substituting meat with mixed vegetable and/or tofu. You also get to choose your choice of spiciness. Feel free to let us know if you have any food allergies so we will ensure none of those be served on your plate.
